I would like to introduce to you a youth group, "New Generation Ministries" that I had the honor of serving under as an associate youth pastor a few years ago,
To this day I remember each one of these great teens and how they impacted my life in such a positive and productive way words can hardly do justice for the way I feel,
all but one word anyway,
and that word would have to be love.
As things go in our lives we all move on and the friendships we develop linger in our memories while we lose touch with each other because of distance and change and yet to this day I'm still proud of these young adults and it is my hope that the seeds of God's word will continue to grow in each of their hearts and be the light on their paths through life.
And so I've decided to dedicate a couple of pages on this website just for them.
IF ANY OF YOU ARE FROM THAT YOUTH GROUP AND ARE STILL VISITING THIS SITE
The Coat of Arms of New Generation Ministries
We believed that today's youth are tomorrow's leaders, And as they grow in our churchs we must do all we can to train them both by example and by teaching on how to grasp, and grow into the calling that God has placed in each of their lives. We believe that within them there are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, who will help change this world by leading others to Jesus! This generation will make all the difference in how the world views and treats God for the next century!
So while we had our church youth ministry we taught them to believe in themselves and in what Jesus can do with their lives. We taught them to think of themselves as future leaders by first thinking of themselves as servants to all of God's people.
That is how Jesus had shown his disciples to lead, by being a servant first and a friend second. So we gave them A Coat Of Arms to remind them that they are truly members of a Kingly priesthood.
Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.
Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
John 4:11-14
