7.05PM : Reached Suntec City Mall and it was pouring...but I'm sure it  won't affect the concert cause it was held indoor.

7.30PM : We took the lift up to the sixth floor. Ah! It's starting soon! Scoured for our seats and there they were. Middle Row, ok , it's cool, we can see her and as well as the band. Check out those guitars and the drum set!

8.00PM : The crowd is getting in now. We seem to be the earlier ones to arrive. The concert is scheduled at 8.15PM. 15 minutes nore... Ah! It seems so long :( My cousin and I chatted and recalled how nervous we were 2 years ago, when we attended her first concert (in 1999, we took a bus to World Trade Centre and just got crazy when the party started!) We are feeling it again! Time really flies and indeed we waited quite a while for this, but of course, we understand her need for a break and certainly appreciate the fact that she includes Singapore in her tour schedule everytime  she is here in Asia. Thank You Jewel!

9.00PM : The band members came on stage followed by Jewel! Everyone went wild! Chants of "Jewel! Jewel!" keep filling up Suntec. She rocks! (Gosh she hasn't started singing and all of us have already gone crazy!) Soon, she started with songs from her "This Way" album, wow, I especially like her live version of This Way! Neat! I like her live versions! She playfully asked the crowd, "You like?" Indeed we do! More of such live versions please :) She did "Cold Song" once more in this concert! :)

9.30-10.10PM : Some more songs from "Spirit" album as well as from "Pieces Of You". One surprise live version of "Little Sister"! It still sounds as good as before! She got us all very much involved in her concert. Everyone was seated at first and she got all of us to the front, we danced and sing along with her!

10.15-10.45PM : Encores, Jewel sang a couple of songs more after some persuasion by us. How we wish it will never end :( She yodels much to our delight and surprises once more! We are never tired of hearing "Angel Standing By".. In fact, it brought back a lot of fond memories...

OverView: There's no Steve Poltz this time round, but Jewel still sparkles. Just wanna let you know that although it's only a small number of people here, but we are really inspired by Jewel's attitude towards life and music. Thanks for remembering and making your music live and loud in Singapore for us.
