Back to Yesterday
A lot can happen in eight years. For their high school reunion, a group of friends separated by fights, pain, and life itself will come back together one last time to remember the good, the bad, and the just plain ugly. And things have changed drastically.
Alyssa Morgan, a famous novelist, is married to lawyer Cole Taylor. The fairytale wedding and honeymoon gave way to a jealous husband seeking to be in control and a wife still pining for her first love. Alyssa’s seemingly perfect life is starting to crumble around her.
Julie Holland-Ridgely is a famous actress acting in independent and major films. Josh Ridgely, her husband, is a stay at home dad to their two children. Jealousy over his wife’s career may jeopardize the loving marriage these two people have.
Ryan Brennon, now a world-renowned journalist, travels the world with his model wife Aimee Scott. Their son, Garrett, is six years old. But a comfortable marriage is on thin ice when Ryan returns to Florida and is threatening to crack.
Lynn Michaels, a singer and guitarist in a rock band, is not looking forward to returning to Florida. A rocky marriage with her manager, Christian Foster, will only add to the tension.
Sam Roberts and his wife Charlotte are facing divorce in the wake of Charlotte’s cheating. The fate of their two children, the subject of a custody battle should the couple divorce, are hanging in limbo.
Trista Morgan, a budding fashion designer, married Michael Slater. Famous for her designs and the wonderful clothes she helps create, Trista, for the first time, is not in the shadow of her older sister.
Now, as the gang gets together one last time, some relationships fall apart, some are reinforced, and old love will be found again. Alyssa and Ryan will get one last chance to make a tough decision that could make or break everything between them. Even then, it may be too late.
Will the group reconcile differences that ten years put between them? Will Alyssa and Ryan finally get their happy ending or will their love destroy not only themselves but also their respective marriages? Or is this the last time this once tight group of friends will ever see each other?
