The year 1993 saw some METRO studio recordings with intention to re-establish band THE GEN. The drummer Jože Hren played the drums and all percussion. However, the tracks were never released - even for broadcast use, because of the tension between bass player Andrej Nanut and singer Marjan Hladnik, who didn't perform professionally enough.
Jože Hren and me have decided to found the funk-pop band. We've got the bass player Boštjan Avsec through the ad in the newspaper and later keyboard player Jani Baš has stepped in. We did much playing and rehearsals in the atomic shelter, but the tension beetween Jani and the drummer arised and Jože has quit the band. Jani had known the singer Alenka Kozolc from before...
