Bette Jane Dunlap Carrothers is a native of New Baltimore and
a graduate of Anchor Bay Schools. Her parents, Fred and Lucille
Dunlap, raised five children with Bette being the oldest.
Her education includes a B. S. and M. S. in music education from
Central Michigan University. Mt. Pleasant, MI. She has taught vocal
music in the Utica, St. Louis, Chippewas Valley, Lake Shore and
Anchor Bay schools, respectively. She has retired but still directs
the First Congregational Church Choir, New Baltimore, as she has for
the last 37 years as well as the Interfaith Choir.
She and husband, William (Bill) Carrothers, reside in Anchorville
and have three grown children and five grandchildren.
Valentino William Pastoria
was born on March 19, 2001 at 10:59 p.m. at Bon Secours Hospital.
Our Lesley's twin boys will be born sometime at the end of February.
That will make seven grandchildren for us, four boys and three girls
ranging in age from 12 and a half to the new borns.
The twins were born on February 10, 2003. Their names are:
Leonardo Joseph Pastoria weighing 5 pounds 9 ounces and Luciano
Antonio Pastoria, weighing 5 pounds, 5 ounces.
