3rd of July flash fest!! whoohoo!!
I realized two things on the 3rd of July....1) George and Fitzy are the best Rhythm section on the planet, and 2)....there are very few things better than looking up from doing a solo to see a bunch of sexy half naked woman flashing!! ;-)
The show at "Cafe Mio" on June 30th went awesome, although the drinking arrangements were weird, and the soundguy needed to be shot (or at least taught how to run the board) we still had a blast!! Sick Upstairs ...What a great band! they Kicked ass, and had a ton of energy, That drove the pit into a frenzy. We look forward to playing with them again soon. Beyond Repair also kept the pit alive with their cool riffs and a monster drummer who blew my mind.
We'd like to thank George and Jodi for letting us wake up their neighbors on the 3rd!! We had an absolute BLAST!! And of course thanks to Kevin, Robin, Missy, and Rich, for helping us make it the best party on the beach!! Thanks to Dawn D. for running around with the camera as well as adding to the fun!! You guys Kick ass! Thanks to Rich Kuran (CHOKE) for jamming with us on Ted Nugent (Stranglehold), Bush (Machine Head), and with R.P. on a Triumph tune. The man is a great drummer, if we didn't already have Fitzy.....CHOKE would have to meet with an unfortunate accident. George Levine also jammed an improve funk thing with Dr,G and Steve. Also Kathy (sorry, I don't know her last name) impressed everybody with a couple of great tunes! What a voice!
We are trying to put together a show at the "Plymouth Elks Club" with two other bands .."Sick Upstairs", and we're hoping "CHOKE" will do it with us. Rich and I came up with the idea, and I like good ideas. But things, are still sketchy as far as date, and details.......so, I wont say anymore.
The new webpage will be up soon, it's looking awesome, so be ready for new pics from recent shows, better graphics (if I ever get with Missy ..I'll call you, I swear!!) MP3s, and all new Bios pages... not that this site has old Bios pages or anything..

*Cafe Mio is changing it's name to Robertson's (I think), and will be a 21+club So, we wont have to deal with the weird drinking rules!!
We will be finishing up a couple new originals, as well as learning some new covers before the next show...so, be ready for a whole new set. As usual we will keep the energy high, the shots a plenty, and the woman as naked as possible!
