Bio

Peter James Andrea was born in Harrow, England in 1973.
He lived in the suburb of Harrow until the age of 10 then his Greek Cypriot family moved to Australia, where he spent his teenage years growing up in Surfer's Paradise dreaming of becoming a singer.
His real name is Peter James Andrea, but changed Andrea to Andre when people kept pronoucing it An-dree-ah instead of On-dray-ah.
The Andre brothers grew up together and were very close because the shared the same bedroom.
Peter learned a lot from his brothers especially how they treated girlfriends.
He went to Benowa Primary School and used to get bullied after school :(
It lasted for three years, during this time he practiced his singing.
BUT at the age of 12, he'd started to go to the gym with his brothers and he'd spend the 90-minute sessions doing sit-ups instead of weightlifting.
The muscles soon started appearing and he could soon stand up for himself.
When one of his tormentors, a tough guy called David, threatened he'd be waiting for little Pete after school, something snapped. The gang was so shocked when Peter knocked down their leader.
And the chief bully became Peter's best mate...after learning his lesson. Not that Peter recommends doing what he did.
His advice to anyone being bullied is to tell somebody or call Childline
Peter started to get interested in girls around the age of 16, even though he had his first girlfriend, Miranda, when he was only six.
Peter also used his musical talents to get the girl of his dreams interested. Once he sang "Candy Girl" by New Edition to a girl!
Because he feared he'd be mocked, Peter disguised his ambition to be a professional musician and told people he wanted to be an arhitect.
his schoolmates thought his musical tastes were old-fashioned. They were all into INXS and he liked Marvin Gaye.
Peter entered every talent contest he could find, but didn't win any.
But he didn't give up and when he was 17 he won top prize for his performance of Bobby Brown's "Don't be cruel" and was awarded a recording contract with Mushroom records.
