Jerry "Booper " Owens was a musician in the Northeast PA scene. He was a dear friend of Nik Coyle, the lead singer of Strangers with Candy, as well as many others. This past April, Booper passed away. In July, his first and only daughter was born. (You probably clicked on her picture to get to this page.)

On July 29th, 2000, the Owens family held a benefit to celebrate his life and his music. The family hopes to raise enough money to complete the CD that he was working on at the time of his death.
