The Serge Modular Music Systems

Buchla Systems and Serge Modular Music Systems are considered by many to be the two ultimate voltage control synthesizers of all times. Until 2004, I was the proud owner of a Serge System '81 prototype (left) and a Serge System'79 with Touchboard and 64 steps sequencer (right and bottom). Alas, due to unforeseen cicumstances,  I had to sell these two systems which I had for nearly 25 years!

It featured: 5 VCO, 9 Wave Multipliers(wave tables generators), 1 Ring Modulator, 3 VCF (2 variable Q and one variable slope), 10 Slope Generators (LFO/ Clock/ Envelope shapers), 10 VCA, 1 Mix (2x4in to 2 out), 2 mini-sequencers (4x7 steps and 2x10 steps) and one Touchboard/64 steps sequencer.

Also, there was a pre-amp and envelope follower, a white and pink noise generator, a Sample and Hold and a Smooth and Stepped generator, two programmable divide by :n counters, Schmitt triggers and much much more...
