Recurring Dream-The Very Best of
(EMI)
This compilation album was released in June 1996, the same month that Neil broke up the group. As well as the singles off the four studio albums, it contained three newly recorded tracks: 'Instinct' (#17 NZ); 'Not the Girl You Think You Are' & 'Everything is Good For You'. (The #7 N.Z. single 'Chocolate Cake' and puzzlingly the title track 'Recurring Dream' were missing.) The album debuted at number one in New Zealand, Australia & the UK and remained at #1 for eight weeks in N.Z.

Initial copies of the album came with a free Special Limited Edition Live Album (Cat #8522482). The album is more than eight times platinum in New Zealand.

NEIL FINN & FRIENDS
7 Worlds Collide
(EMI)
In April 2001 thousands converged upon Auckland's St James Theatre for a series of concerts unlike anything previously witnessed in New Zealand. There were no forthcoming hints that these concerts would be recorded for posterity at the time. This historical show celebrated this country's most credible and successful songwriter on the world stage - Neil Finn.

And to prove it he had guests of the calibre of Radiohead's Ed O'Brien, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Johnny Marr (ex-Smiths), 4AD recording artist, and one time John Mellencamp musician, Lisa Germano, plus of course son Liam and brother Tim, all contributing cameos, songs, and of course enthusiastic participation. This amazing concert is also available on DVD.
