CRUSADERS
THE CRUSADERS
Vocal Album
(MCA)
This is a collection of The Crusaders greatest vocal tracks, and some vocal tracks from their solo projects.

First up is Randy Crawford performing the song that launched her career Internationally; Street LIfe from The Crusaders album Street Life. Joe Cocker performs 'This Old World's Too Funky for Me' and 'I'm So Glad I'm Standing Here Today' from Standing Tall. One my alltime favourite artists is Bill Withers, and here he performs 'Soul Shadows' from Rhapsody & Blues.

B.B. King has two tracks included i.e. Better Not Look Down from Royal Jaml and Hold On (I Think Our Love Is Changing) from Midnight Believer. Both of these albums are B.B. King's which feature the Crusaders.

Tracks from Wilton Felder albums include Bobby Womack perfoming the title track from Inherit The Wind; and from the album Secrets, Bobby Womack and Alltrinna Grayson singing '(No Matter How High I Get) I'll Still Be Looking Up To You'.

Tina Turner performs The Beatles 'Help' from Private Dancer that features The Crusaders, and Nancy Wilson performs 'The Way It Goes' from The Crusaders final album The Good And Bad Times. I commend MCA for putting this compilation together, as it is a great way to get most of these vocal tracks together. It is also a fantastic album for creating that ideal late night-romantic setting.
