DRAGON Snake Eyes On The Paradise-Greatest Hits 1976-1989 (Raven/EMI) This was a band that more than paid it's dues. The founding member of Dragon was in fact Todd Hunter (guitarist), not Marc. But it was Marc Hunter and Paul Hewson that took Dragon to the heights of commercial success with hits like 'April Sun In Cuba' & 'Are You Old Enough'. Who would have thought that these small town Kiwi's would have reached for the stars and made it. Very few Aussie or Kiwi parties go through a whole night without Dragon being played once or twice. Dragon were a true Australasion institution! Paul Hewson died in 1985 not long after quiting the band, his own composition 'April Sun In Cuba' is an absolute classic. Sadly Marc Hunter passed away on Friday March 27th 1998 of cancer. Many of Australia's & New Zealand's greatest entertainers turned out for Marc's memorial. Snake Eyes On The Paradise-Greatest Hits 1976-1989 is either for the collector, or just the partial fan. There is something for everybody on this awesome collection of Dragon's finest moments.
