RUBEN GONZALEZ Introducing... (World Circuit/Elite) Since the release of Ernest Ranglin's Below The Baseline, Roy Hargrove's Habana(featuring Irakere's Chucho Valdez), & Ry Cooder's input into the Buena Vista Social Club there has been a regrowth in the interest of Cuban influenced jazz again. Paquito D'Rivera and Arturo Sandoval (Ex-Irakere members) along with Monty Alexander have also ignited this interest. Ruben Gonzalez was the featured pianist on Buena Vista Social Club.
