HALL & OATES
HALL & OATES
Very Best Of
(BMG)
Darryl Hall & John Oates were the epitome of 'Blue-eyed-soul' during the mid-seventies and early eighties, with such classics as 'Sara Smile' and 'Rich Girl'.

Although this compilation is almost complete it is missing what I consider to be some their early classics such as 'She's Gone', 'Do What You Want, Be What You Are', 'Everytime You Go Away' and 'Bigger Than Both of Us'. Why?

The focus on this compilation seems to lean towards the Allen/Hall compositions, which isn't bad, it's just not complete without the Oates material.
