GEORGE HARRISON
All Things Must Pass
(EMI)
This is the 30th Anniversary-remastered version of this amazing set from 1970, complete with out-takes and extra tracks, and an absolute super-session from the ex-Beatle-guitarist George Harrison. These sessions included Dave Mason (Traffic), a young Phil Collins, fellow Beatle Ringo Starr, Gary Wright (Spooky Tooth), Gary Brooker (Procol Harum), Badfinger and Billy Preston; and members (Eric Clapton, Bobby Whitlock, Carl Radle, Jim Gordon) from what were the Delaney & Bonnie Bramlett Band, and were to become Derek & The Dominos. The hits 'My Sweet Lord' (plus a 2000 version), Bob Dylan's 'If Not For You' (that was given to Harrison by Bob), 'What Is Life', and the title track 'All Things Must Pass', are all included herein. Of special note: the opening track 'I'd Have You Anytime' was co-written by Harrison & Dylan. All Things Must Pass was produced by the 'Wall Of Sound' genius Phil Spector.
