MOODY BLUES
Days Of Future Passed
(Deram/Universal)
This timeless [Remastered] album contains the best marriage of a rock band and orchestra ever recorded (1967). This album served as the imspiration for the likes of Procol Harem, Deep Purple, Jesus Christ Superstar, Alan Parsons, plus many others, and much more recently Metallica. Included within is the hit song 'Nights In White Satin' that has been a number one hit several times over. The Moody Blues back then were Justin Hayward on guitars and lead vocals, John Lodge on bass, Ray Thomas on flute, Graeme Edge on drums, and Mike Pinder on keyboards. When this album was recorded it was totally revolutionary and in keeping pace with the ever changing Beatles.
