Augustus Pablo Original Rockers (Shanachie) This is an excellent introduction to Augustus Pablo's outstanding dub styles. Pablo lays down some eerie and hauntingly beautiful dub on this project, which he delivered during the period of his major creative and commercial success. Accentuated by his sinuous melodica playing, Pablo's take on dub is deep and dark, only occasionally giving way to bubbling vocals that hint at melodies and lyrics, rather than stating them outright.
