PINETOP PERKINS Back On Top (Telarc Blues) This is the finest album I've heard from this Chicago legend. Pinetop played piano for Muddy Waters for many years. At the fine age of 86 Pinetop has never sounded better. Pinetop has got Corey Harris and Sugar Ray Norcia on board and the music is hot. Tracks include Pinetop's 'Down In Mississippi', Eddie Boyd's 'Five Long Years', Leroy Carr's 'How Long Blues', and Roscoe Gordon's 'Just A little Bit'.
