HORACE SILVER A Prescription For The Blues (Universal/Impulse) For those who count Song For My Father as their favourite Horace Silver album you should give A Prescription For The Blues a listen. The similarities are evident in both structure and style; that is the Latin rhythms meets the blues. What makes this album even more enjoyable with every listen is the superb support musicianship from the Brecker Brothers, Ron Carter and Louis Hayes.
