CONNIE SMITH The Essential (RCA) This superb package contains the majority of Connie's 60's country hits i.e. 'Cry Cry Cry', 'Cincinnati, Ohio', Gordon Lightfoot's 'Ribbon Of Darkness', Don Gibson's 'Just One Time' and the finale 'How Great Thou Art'. Most of the best songs were Bill Anderson compositions, and it was Bill that gave Connie her first big hit 'Once A Day'. The final song on this compilation describes where Connie has put her heart today. Connie is now married to an evangelist and she now sings gospel as part of her ministry.
