SUSAN TEDESCHI Just Won’t Burn (Tone-Cool/Elite) Susan launches into the rockabilly 'Rock Me Right' from base one that features the joint guitar wizardry of Sean Costello and herself. 'You Need To Be With Me' is a Tedeschi original and sounds like a young Bonnie Raitt. One of my favourite Junior Wells songs 'Little By Little' is given a face-lift and features Annie Raines on harmonica. 'Looking For Answers' shows off a beautiful, moody side of Susan and also showcases her wicked slide guitar playing. Susan’s rhythm guitarist Adrienne Hayes, who has recorded with Ronnie Earl, wrote 'Can’t Leave You Alone'. Adrienne is not only a great songwriter; she also plays dynamic lead on 'Can’t Leave You Alone'. The title track is total soul! Next comes two classics, 'Mama, He Treats Your Daughter Mean', and Prine’s 'Angel From Montgomery' that are both welcome inclusions on Just Won’t Burn that showcase the depth and the range of this delightful blues woman.
