This shares similarities to 'A Day In The Life' with its sweeping overtures, plus a gospel element added by the London Community Choir. 'It's All Gone' and 'Malediction' are Scott solos that add a vital contrast. The extremely psychedelic 'Dumbing Down The World' is like listening to a violent radio broadcast that slips in and out of the reception range.On this amazing album Mike Scott is at his charismatic best with his ever-changing musical tapestries and in your face lyrics.
