*Boston, MA 10.9.00 The Paradise Rock Club
The Boston show was GREAT! A totally amazing, surreal, experience! The guys sounded terrific! The club that I saw them at was extrememely small, and they clebrated their "Grand re-opening" the day of the concert. I would definately recommend seeing trying to get tickets to one of the smaller theatre shows while they last! It's not often that a big band like the Wallflowers play such small venues. It will be worth it, trust me! It was without a doubt, the most fun I've ever had in my life! I was lucky enough to meet the band before *and* after the concert and let me tell you, they are the sweetest guys. It's unbelievable how nice they are. They genuinely wanted to meet the fans and were excited about the show also. Here is the setlist:
Sleepwalker-Some Flowers Bloom Dead-Letters from the Wasteland-Sixth Avenue Heartache-Somebody Else's Money-Hand me Down-I've been Delivered-Three Marlenas-Murder 101-One Headlight-Heroes-The Difference ENCORE Babybird-We Won't get Fooled Again
I can't even describe how good they sounded, and how nice they were. It was unbelieveable. When I saw Mike after the show, he was sick so he wanted to go home early, but he saw the crowd of people waiting outside, and he stopped to sign autographs anyway! When they were playing you wouldn't have realized that they were sick. They put on a great show.
I cannot stress how nice and funny they are! An amazing group of people.
