Both magazines include articles. The vogue picture is of the entire band and it's really nice. The US weekly picture is just of Jakob, but also very nice.
The Wallflowers' performance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno has been moved to Oct. 31st. The show is on NBC at 11:30.
Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Angelfire was giving me problems. Everything should be straightened out now though. :)

If you missed the KCRW radio interview with Jakob Dylan on Saturday, Oct. 21st, go to the Ground Zero channel at Spinner.com starting this Tuesday, October 24th to check it out. The interview will run a whole week until Oct. 31st. If you haven't heard it yet you should really check it out. It's a really good interview. Jake is on at the end of the show.
(This really isn't "news"-just a comment.) For those of you who are just checking out the page for info on the Wallflowers, but haven't gone out to get the new CD yet...Go out and get it! It's great. Absolutely mind blowing. I just listened to it for the first time in a few days, and I just had to stop everything and listen, and I've already memorized all the words. (Many people that I've talked to have agreed that they like Breach better than BDTH.) The cd is worth the money just for "Letters from the Wasteland." GREAT song. (FYI for Napster lovers, the actual cd has all the lyrics printed in the liner notes which is really nice. Plus if you go and buy the cd now, you can get the limited edition which has some *great* bonus tracks on it.)

For those of you who missed last night's episode of SNL, The Wallflowers came on the show and played "Sleepwalker" followed by "Hand me Down." Considering that they played "Hand me Down" also, it's very likely that the song will become the band's next single.

If you've signed up for the Wallflowers e-team on their official site you already know that wallflower fans have been trying to get Sleepwalker on TRL. We're planning to have a mass voting on Monday the 23rd. To call in and vote call at 3:00pm 1-800-DIALMTV.
Jake was on the VH1 Vogue fasion awards show. The show will be reaired 10/22/00 at 7:00pm. He's on about an hour and 15 minutes into the show. Check vh1.com for more listings.

Also, forget to watch SNL tonight at 11:30et. Dana Carvey is the host. Make sure you watch right until the end because usually they play two songs and also everyone comes out at the end of the show. There's a SNL commercial with Jake and Dana Carvey. If you watch NBC at night before SNL you'll probably see it.

Apparently there is more than one bonus cd. You have to look at the UPC number to figure out which bonus tracks you'll get. There's the regular cd with no bonus cd, a bonus cd with Invisible city and Sleepwalker (UPC 0694908092), and another one with two Sleepwalker tracks (UPC 0694908112).(Thanks to Wallfollower from the bb)

First of all, Breach is out today so go buy it! It's sooo GOOD!
Next, there is an article and picture of Jake in Entertainment Weekly with Ben Stiller and Rober DeNiro on the cover p.77
And Finally, I went to the Boston show yesterday and it was absolutely the best day of my whole life! It was that much fun! I got to meet the whole band! They were really nice guys! I'll have my review up hopefully by tomorrow. If anyone has seen them in concert, send me a review. I would like to make a concert review page. Even if it's from a couple years ago, send it in!

Jakob is on the cover of Rolling Stone for this week. Right now it's not on the newstands yet,(subscribers get issues a couple days earlier), but it should be on the news stands soon. Just thought I'd tell you so you wouldn't be running all over town and getting disappointed! Rolling Stone reviewed Breach and gave it 4 stars!!!

There's a small picture and article with Jake in this week's issue of TV guide. It was written by MTV's VJ Anonda Lewis. There's a few mistakes in it though. It lists Jake's age as 31, but he's only 30, and it says they were dropped from their record label, after the debut album, but they actually asked to be let out of their contract. It's worth checking out though.

Ok, First Listen is definately going to be on the 2nd of October. I checked tv guide to find out. It will be on at 10:30 and repeats will air the 3rd at 8:00; Oct.4 at 12:30pm and 11:00pm. I think I finally got it right. Again, sorry for the confusion.

I guess First listen will be on Oct. 2nd now because MTV changed their weekly schedule for the 2nd. Before the site didn't list it and now it does so I guess First Listen will be on Oct. 2nd at 10:30pm. They also had 1st listen listed under Oct 1 at 10pm but they didn't specify which first listen it was in either cases. Might as well tune in both times to make sure. Sorry for the confusion.

According to people who went to the San Francisco show the Wallflowers will begin their official tour in November!
