The concert at the Paradise was the day before Breach was released.  It was incredible to say the least.  I met the guys before the show.  They were all extremely nice and asked for names and just chatted for a short amount of time before they left.  I'd been waiting to see them in concert for 4 years so meeting them before hand was more than I could have asked for.  The Wallflowers were actually the first band scheduled to be at the club.  It was under new ownership because it had been closed down and they were chosen to play at the grand opening.  (I've been back there since and they have The Wallflowers 2000 Rolling Stone framed and mounted on the wall.)  Oh, and Howie Day opened for them.  The Wallflowers sounded great!  Jakob and Mike were both sick with colds but you really couldn't tell from the way they were playing.  I was standing in the front row in between the two of them.  I had waited there almost all day in the cold, but it was worth it.  It is quite an odd little venue but very historic and probably the best place to see a concert in all of Boston.  Somebody Else's Money was probably my favorite song of the night.  It sounded very different live and it was great.  During the set, Jakob joked that it was OK to sing along to the new songs since most people had already downloaded it.  Jakob also made a funny comment before they played 'One Headlight'.  Unfortunately, I was laughing so hard that I now I totally forget what the joke was. lol.  He is quite the entertainer even while he is not singing or playing.  I was incredibly impressed with Mario's drumming!  He sounded great!   Greg and Rami were of course amazing as well.  :)  After the set, Jakob walked to the edge of the stage and shook my hand before he left.  :)  Mario was the last one to leave and he gave my sister his drumstick.  She was really happy since she has been a fan for such a long time too.  Afterwards, both of us met them again and it was very exciting because it was after midnight and Breach had just been released.
