Well there's this radio station that gets several bands every year for some sort of benefit concert. Then I heard that The Wallflowers were coming this time and I totally freaked out and I knew I had to get tickets for the concert and so I did. I didn't get the best seats in the house but I was fairly close to the side of the guys. They were the 7th band playing out of 8 bands and they were right after 98*. Most of the bands were boy bands and pop and the WFs were the only rock band. Well anyway they came out and started rocking the house with "Heroes". After that Jake, like usual jokes around and comments to the audience. Then he said "for those of you who don't know, this is a guitar..." and he was showing the people his guitar. I thought it was pretty funny although the point wasn't very clear to me on why he said that. Then they played, "6th Ave", "SLeepwalker", "Three Marlenas", "One Headlight", and closed with "The Difference". I was holding up my posters to show my flower pride but I didn't get to meet the guys. But i did have a great time! After they finished, Mario threw his drumsticks to the audience and it was very cool. They put on a great show. I am going to another of their concerts in a week! With Tom Petty! I am excited!
