It was a great show...I came all the way from the nj/nyc area to see them....and it was absolutely worth it. They put on a great show......I was in completer awe. I went to the fest ultra early to get good seats but there already was a small crowd up front. I was upset because i really wanted to be upfront. THankfully, the people in front of us let us up front and center because we waited all day for them. I was only 20 feet away from them....unbelievable. They put on an amazing show. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! I should have taken a better camera with me, but my disposable came out good for a disposeable. Adam Duritz came out to join them for 6th ave hearthache, and kinda just hung around on stage for a bit after the song. It was so funny, because Jakob was introducing Adam, but no one came out. So Jakob ended singing the first chorus by himself. Everyone was sorta like thinking "where the hell is Adam?" So Adam rushes out and stumbles out on stage all lost and confused. He kept on sitting down, then getting up, then sitting down. They put on an AMAZING SHOW. I cannot stress that enough. Jakob's voice sounded so raspy for the beginnning with sleepwalker. It was so sexy, sounded like he sort of woke up with the flu. Mario was awesome on the drums. Jakob introduced the band, and when he got to Mario he went "Ladies, and ladies only. Behind me is Mario Calire" Of course all the girls, including me, were screaming. Jakob goes "That was a nice response" It was so cute.Mike did great for the encore when he sang Song 2 (I think). RAmi and Greg were awesome, they were so into it. Jakob was talking to the crowd. He said to the guy that let me and friend move up "Hey why did you put your robe back on" The guy had on coconut bras, and a Hawaiian shirt over it. Then he buttoned it. When Jakob said that, he unbuttoned his shirt again and showed it to the crowd. Jakob goes something like "That's better" or "I like that better" and the people around were laughing. He played a couple of more songs, and was talking to the crowd again. He was telling us how the air conditioner never broke on their tour bus, but it did today. He said that it was an 11 hour bus ride with no air conditioning. Being down south that weekend, I can vouch for everyone when I said it was burning down there. After the show me and friend were just walking and we saw their tour bus. We waited for like a minute, and Rami was there. I was so stunned.....he was so nice. He asked where we came from, and I told him Jersey. He's like "Wow that's far....isn't it...wait, no...yeah it is...rite?" It was so funny, he had this confused look. I was like "Yeah real far" He signed my cd and took a pic. He had his arm around my shoulders, I nearly passed out =). Then Jakob came out. He was so nice to everyone, answereing questions and taking pics and stuff. It was a good thing that he had his sunglasses on when he was talking to me, otherwise I really would have passed out looking into his eyes. All these girls were around him with their cds, I was trying to get his attention, so I started waving my pen in his face. I almost damn neared poked him....He kinda laughed and said "you want me to sign your pen...hmmm...that's odd" I was like "My cd please" and he signed it and asked if that was all and smiled. I wanted a pic with him, but we ran out of film.....He's really skinny in life, but still has taht amazing smile. I wanted to meet the others, especially Mario, but they were no where to be found.
