English lyrics

© 5/31/00 Dee Miller

Lord, I hoped, my life, to be stronger
Tried to hide my weakness away, inside

Then the tenderness that I once had shown
Was gone, that part of me had died

Suddenly, I realized the emptiness inside of me,
Through my tears, I heard You say....

"I will accept you, as you are
Yes, I accept you, as you are"
I looked to see,
God's gentle hand reach out to me

"I will accept you, as you are
Yes, I accept you, as you are

Leave your past behind, no price to pay
Put your hand in mine, I'll lead your way,
I accept you now, just as you are."

NOTE: I asked the Lord to help me with translating Watasan's meaning.
This is not a new song,
I am only trying to pass along what Watasan is saying.
Be Blessed......Dee

COMMENT: "One day, when Watasan was walking along, he was inspired and
filled with the Holy Spirit. This song was given to him.
God told him He would heal his past."

Watasan wrote the meaning to his song.......;

I hoped to be stronger.
I wanted to throw my weakness away.
And I left even my tenderness behind.
I happened to find out nothing in myself.
"I accept you just as you are", the Lord gently said to me.
"I accept you just as you are."
When I look up at the Lord, His hands work in my weakness.
