Allison and the Piano.
When Allison was very young,
her mother taught her how to play the piano.
"Now, Allison, you MUST pay attention to your lessons,"
her mother would always say.
One day, her mother became ill and died the next day. Before she died,
she called her husband in.
"Make sure that Allison will be able to play the piano...
always," she said weakly.
Allison had a deep pain in her heart for her mother. Her father soon
remarried and the piano was forgotten. Until one day, she went up to the attic.
She found picutres of her mother and the piano. At the very bottem of the
trunk, there were the words on a piece of paper, "Make sure that Allison
will be able to play the piano always." Allison had also found a bunch of
songs with the notes.
That day, Allison sat on the piano and began to teach herself how to
play. One day, her father found loose papers all around the piano and began to
pick them up until he went to the paper that had "Make sure that Allison
will be able to play the piano always," on it.
He stopped and began to cry. The next day, he filed for divorce for he
was not happy with his wife who only wanted his money. Allison and her father
lived happily ever after with the piano and the shadow of Allison's mother.
