Some T.V. Characters became American Folklore Legends in the 20th Century, such as Zorro, The Lone Ranger, The Cartwrights, etc; however, not many TV Characters have become more American Folklore Legends than "The Dukes of Hazzard." The Dukes were just as the Show's Theme Song stated: "Modern Day Robin Hoods fighting a corrupt system in Hazzard County, Georgia." This corrupt system was run by Boss Jefferson Davis Hogg, and his crooked Sheriff, Roscoe P. Coltrane.
