Little Hiawatha Totem Pole Showcase.

Welcome to The Hiawatha Totem Pole Showcase. In earlier years, the North American Indians of the Northwest could neither read nor write. They were, however, masterful wood carvers and storytellers, and often carved their stories out on wooden poles which were called Totem Poles.

This Page is named after the Fictional Pre Colonial Native American of American Folklore--Hiawatha. In the Late 1930's, Walt Disney produce one of his Silly Symphony Shorts, "Little Hiawatha."
