" Hello Brian, This is mom. Were having a party here on the 20th of march at 8pm. It would be great if you came; we haven't seen you in such a long time. Well im gonna go now. Hope to see you there".
Brian sighed as he pressed the stop button. He picked up the phone and dialed a very familiar number. The phone rang a few times before someone picked up.
"Hello" The woman said.
" Hey mom, It's Brian".
" Oh, Brian it's great to hear from you its been so long" Jackie said.
" yeah I know mom ... About that party" Brian started to say but was cut off.
" You can come right?" Jackie asked.
" Yeah I'll be there" Brian said.
" Why me?" Brian thought.
" Ok I'll see you then I got to go now Love you" Jackie said.
" Love you too mom bye" Brian said as they both hung up.
" Looks like I'm heading home" Brian thought as he picked up his duffel bag and walkd up the stairs.
