Now, the guys are ready to unleash a new single, "Ghost of You and Me," and will spend their summer vacation opening up for *NSYNC's summer tour. We caught up with Christian, Mark and Ste (who answered all of our questions together!) to get the latest on this summer's BBMak attack.
And girls, be sure to read all the way through. There's some very, um, important status information the guys (if you catch our drift).
So it's been about a year since we last talked to you. Back then, did you
ever think you'd be as successful in the U.S. as you are now?
We hoped that we would be because the USA is so massive we wanted to really
concentrate on breaking here. So we worked really, really hard at it and
thought we would have a chance because people responded so strongly to our
first single "Back Here."
How have things been going in your homeland? How did the Corrs tour go?
The Corrs tour was brilliant. We had a great time. We also did a few one-off
dates on our own, including one in Liverpool. All our family and friends were
at that one -- it was amazing.
Everything has been going really well. We were excited to come back to the
U.K. with the success of the USA behind us. Everyone in England were saying
'Hey, we better pay attention!'"
What do you think about spending another summer on the road in the U.S., this
time with *NSYNC?
We are looking forward to it. We spent nearly a whole year in the U.S. last
year and haven't been back too much since January. We were back in March to
tape some television shows and in Puerto Rico in April for the video, so we
are looking forward to re-connecting with all our fans here.
Give us the scoop on the new single "Ghost of You and Me" and the cool video
you shot for it in Puerto Rico.
Can't give scoop. It is under the "official secrets act." Seriously though,
it is worth waiting to see on MTV [in] May.
Our readers are dying to know what's up with your new album. Can you guys
give us any dirt on that?
We will be going back in to the studio in September and have been writing
songs and working things out for over a year! We haven't made any decisions
yet as to what will appear on the CD.
Please tell us a little about the "Music In High Places" special you filmed
in Vietnam. That must have been quite an experience ...
It was totally amazing. We have never experienced anything like that ever. It
is going to air on MTV in September, we think.
Finally, the most important question ... Which BBMak members can we tag
"single and ready to mingle"?
We are all are single and if you can find us -- ready to mingle!
