In the land of the consensuses hairy, the competition is rough. Just after Alanis Morissette, who's selling wheelbarrows of her last album, Sheryl Crow is taking hers out, "C'mon C'mon". And oh surprise ! The beautiful Sheryl, usually quite irritating with her "Planet Hollywood's waiter dresses", and her "middle of the road" songs, takes away the piece. Is it the depression for overwork who brought her down during the recording sessions ? The presence of good friends like Stevie Nicks, Don Henley, Lenny Kravitz or Liz Phair (wich was playing basketball in the nearby studio) ? Or just the maturity ? The fact remains that this album, much more rock then her previous ones, hits by its "extensive songs very 70's" thing, to listen in a Chevrolet on the Road 66".
