Leblanc Metal Clarinets

Pictured above are the "new" metal clarinets by Leblanc presented at the 1940 New York World's Fair. From left to right we have the Eb contraalto (to low C), the Bb contrabass (to low C), the F alto (to at least low D, possibly low C; it's hard to tell in the photo), the Bb octocontrabass (the accompanying article with this picture states that it goes to low D, but according to composer Terje Lerstad, who has played the instrument, it goes to low C), the Bb bass (to low C, paperclip shape), and the Eb alto (to low C).
