The 2001-2002 marching band season was a great success. The band performed "A Celtic Celebration" competing in TOB's in Maryland and Delaware. The Chapter 9 Championships were held in Kent Island, Maryland. The marching band placed 2nd in the Mayor's Christmas Parade in Baltimore, Maryland. During the spring, the band participated in the Harundale, Ferndale, Laurel Main Street, and Glen Burnie Memorial Day parades. They placed 1st in the Laurel parade. During their Spring trip to Florida, they placed 1st in the parade competition.

The marching band looks very hopeful for the 2002-2003 marching season. The leaders for the 2002-2003 season are: Senior Drum Major Andrea Semke; Junior Drum Major Katy Medrano; Field Captains Jenna Moenius, Jessica Eyring, and Kim Stinchcomb; Clarinet Section Leader Lisa Wagner; Flute Section Leader Rebecca Patterson; Saxophone Section Leader Mary Grimm; Brass Section Leader Mike Murphy; Percussion Section Leader Matt deLeon; and Pit Section Leader Sheleena Taylor.

The Pom Squad advisor is Ms. Missy Jordan, and the Color Guard advisor is Ms. Lynette Harbeson.
