The String Orchestra performs annualy at the Anne Arundle County Assessment, Winter and Spring Concerts at GBHS and at La Fontaine Bleu for a Ki Wive's Dinner in January. The String Orchestra and Full Orchestra won 1st place in Orlando, Florida.
Soloists for the String Orhestra of 2000-2001 are Henriette Grahm, Chaka Jennings, and Mike Murphy, who is also the Concert Master.
