'Bio'

Dave McPherson - Vocals & Guitar
Joe Morgan - Bass &BAcking Vocals
Simon Taylor - Drums

Having known each other for the majority of their lives (Dave and Joe met a school when they were only 4 years old), it was destined that the three members of InMe were always going to play and write together. Dave and Joe started jamming in 1994 when they werre just 11 years old, but it wasn't until 1996 at the age of 13 that the self-taught singer/guitarist Dave McPherson, bassist and Grade 8 Violinist Joe Morgan and drummer Simon Taylor had their first band practice and called themselves 'Drowned'.

In a twist of fate, whilst going to the headlining act in March 2001, MDN's A&R department caught InMe (stiil called 'Drowned' at the time) playing the very last song of their aet - 'LAva Twilight', which had to run late due to a broken cymbal. It was the pure energy, talent and uniqueness of those three teenagers that literally cemented their future as anew signing to the Music For Nations label.

From the moment InMe signed MFN, the band holed-up in rehersals practising and crefting songs, including 'Lava Twilight', that would eventually become their debut album 'Overgrown Eden', which is due for UK release on "?". It was also during this time that the band took on the moniker of InMe after discovering that their previous band name was already taken.

It is their life-long friendship and understanding of each other that is the very key to the passion and honesty everything InMe does. All of their lyrics, penned by Dave McPherson, are truly from the soul, and are an emotional self-expression of everthing that haunts him. This is emulated in the way that Dave usues his vocal performance, a catharsis that moves from screams and growls to soft, angelics falsettos. Enveloped in the anger, powere and sheer drive of drums, bass and guitar, the 12 brilliant tracks that complete the dbut album 'Overgrown Eden' are sure to achieve what InMe striven for since their incarnation - to have their music herd.
