Big news little prints

There's a certain kind of primness coming along with the newest dresses. Most of them have sleeves; short and puffy, three-quarter and frilled, or long and cuffed. And most of them are printed with tiny flower designs that might have come straight from a Victorian wallpaper. Colours are pretty: smudgy blues and greens, alone and mixed; sunny-hued yellows; oranges and pink with beige, and the clear-cut definition of black and white.

Prettiness plus looks: more black and whiteness, this partnership stressed with white broderie Anglaise edging the double frills of the sleeves. matching headscarf comes with the dress. By Highlight Sports, 90s; 6d. Marguerite bangle by Jewelcraft, 21s.
