JAZZY DRESSES

Little dresses for big evenings out dancing or just listening to the newest sounds in music, and we photographed them with one of the most exciting sounds in music around town now, the Tony Kinsey quintet who are currently playing at Annie's Room, the new jazz club in Covent Garden owned by Annie Ross.

[LEFT] A raised waist, a low neck, an edging of ruffles... sum total, a magnificently mood-right dress in old gold rayon chiffon. By Hilderbrand, 6 1/2 gns.

[RIGHT] No need to jazz it up-white lace is sculpted with great effect into a slim dress with a wide, curved-out neckline fringed with a frill. By Blanes, 8 gns. Pale gold sling-backs by Russell and Bromley, 89s;11d.
