Ingredients:
1 large hen
3 lb lean pork
3 lb lean ground beef
3 16 oz cans ground tomatoes
2 large onions, chopped
5 oz Worcestershire sauce
2 cups ketchup
3 cups chicken broth
2 T vinegar
2 T lemon juice
1 28 oz can corn (or fresh)
Hot sauce to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook pork and chicken until tender in boiling salt water.
Remove all meat from bone, keeping chicken separate.
Place ground beef and pork in broth.
Add tomatoes, onions, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, chicken broth, vinegar, and lemon juice. (All of these ingredients may vary because of weight of meat.)
Cook on low heat for approximately 45 minutes.
Add chicken, corn, hot sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
Cook another 15 to 20 minutes.
Stir constantly to keep from sticking. Will make a thick stew.
Serve with loaf bread, potato chips and pickles. Freezes well.
