Artemis Fowl is a funny and interesting book. Colfer introduces a whole new world of a LEPrecon commander named Holly Short and a twelve year old boy. Does Artemis discover the secrets of the faries, yes, but will he survive the deadly blue rinse the faries targeted at his house?
Artemis Fowl #2 came out recently (though I don't have a summary.... hint, hint) The second book is called Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident.
