I recently read a really great book called Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson. It was definitely one of the top three books on my list of favorites! I couldn't put it down, I read for three hours straight until I finally finished it! Anyway this book is about a girl whose mom died, her dad is a reverend, and she has a younger brother who she is constantly taking care of. It's her last year in high school and she really wants to go to MIT and she's sure she'll get in. But, the problem is she applied to this school and this school only! As if waiting for the letter isn't stressing enough, her archenemy and her 3-year-old brother move into her house because their house catches on fire. When things seem like they can't get worse they do, and her life is changed forever.
