1/23 Ryan Adams broke his wrist at a show! :-(

1/19  Rod announced his departure from the Lloyd Dobler Effect.  The search for a bassist is on.  Chuck will be playing with the band for the Asia and New England tour

1/11  Javi and the Lloyd Dobler Effect have parted ways.  LDE added saxophonist Doug Rock to their line-up and recently welcomed Chris Bruno to the band.

12/19 Wal-Mart will launch a downloading site next year comparable to iTunes that will offer songs for $.88

12/10   Woohoo!  Wilco is done recording their new album and it will be out in the spring.

12/10  Chris Martin and Gwenyth Paltrow announced that they got married on Friday.

12/10   There will now be no investigation against Eminem and his “threatening” lyrics.

12/9   The Secret Service is investigating one of Eminem’s lyrics and whether it is a threat to Bush.  The lyric is “F*&k money, I don’t rap for dead presidents.  I’d rather see the president dead”.  Ridiculous, this nation is so messed up….

12/5   Chris Martin & Gwenyth Paltrow are having a baby.

12/5   I can’t spill the secret just yet, but LDE has some big news coming…  But I’ll give you a hint, Gary Katz is involved...

12/4   A thief stole the van and equipment belonging to the band Pretty Girls Make Graves. The band stated that the thief could keep the van, just return all of the equipment.  The van was recovered, without the equipment.

12/2   “[Philadelphia] was a moment for me when I realized, 'Wow, this music is so much bigger than I am,'  I realized it's not really me leading the way ... the music is totally in charge of this whole ride."  One of my favorite artists, Alexi Murdoch, speaks out on the lack of music integrity and the economic drive in the industry—why he won’t sign.
