               t h e  b o o n e  f a m i l y Pat Boone struggled with managing a singing career and being a full-time father.  To keep the family together while on tour, Pat decided to put Shirley and the girls in the act.  They premiered with Pat during his tour of Japan and released their first album as a family when Debby was only 14 years old.  Their last album was released two years before Debby and her sisters recorded their first album, "Glass Castle," and three years before Debby's 'Light' success.
