epilogue
Siobhan opened her eyes, blinking them hard, not believing what she was seeing. She reached a hand up to touch his face, and she gasped as her fringertips made that intial contact with his skin.
"Carmen? Is that you?" she asked, bewildered, "Am I dreaming?"
"Yes, Baby, it's me; but, you're not dreaming." he replied, his eyes soft, his smile warm and loving.
"How can I not be dreaming? No offense Honey; but, you're dead."
Laughing then, he shot back at her, "That's absolutely true Von. So are you."
Her eyes grew wide and her face beamed with delight, "You mean it worked?! I did it?!"
"Yes, my love, you did. I know that it was hard for you because of the kids; but, they'll be fine. They forgive you and they understand."
"Really? How do you know?"
"Everyone knows everything about everyone here."
"You look so handsome, young like when we met." She looked down at her hands then, wrinkled and aged and she frowned.
"Now, there'll be none of that here." With that, he leaned down to her, claiming her with his mouth. As he kissed her, the years fell away, wrinkles being replaced with smooth, supple skin and she, once again, had the physical appearance of her youth.
"Look now." he urged, a mirror materializing.
"Oh!" she said with a start. "How did that happen?"
"Anything can happen here. You'll learn."
With a miscievous grin, she looked at him; and, seconds later, he was standing before her, completely naked. He looked down at himself, grinning widely at her, shaking his head, his eyes full of laughter.
"You always did learn quick, didn't you?"
"Uh-huh." she nodded, chuckling. "Hey. You've been gone for a week; and, the way I see it, we've got some catching up to do."
"That we do Von. That we do."

... or maybe it's just the beginning ... it all depends on how you look at it, doesn't it?
