Chance Encounter

Chapter 8

"Oh, I don't know... how about Bounce? Ben Affleck is cool," Brian said, flopping down on the couch. She put in the movie and sat down on the couch beside Brian. About halfway through the movie, Samantha began to get tired. She wanted to lie down, but she didn't want to be so forward as to put her head in his lap. She moved down to the other end of the couch and laid down. Brian pulled her feet into his lap.

"I give great foot massages," he said, smirking at her.

"I don't think I've ever let anybody touch my feet," she said, laughing.

"Oh, you're in for a treat," he said, as he began to rub the arch of her foot. She felt her whole body relax as he rubbed with warm hands. Oh my... she was having very, very bad thoughts.

"You have beautiful feet," he said, checking out her toes. She was glad she had painted her toenails the night before.

"Why thank you," she said, giggling. "Nobody has ever said I had great feet before."

"Well how could they if you never let anybody touch them?"

"You're right. Maybe I'll wear open-toed shoes more often."

"Good," he said, continuing to rub. He slowly picked up her foot and placed a kiss right on the bottom. Samantha felt her body tingling in all the right places as he continued to kiss her foot. Ohhh God. This was too much. She felt his tongue lightly travel up the arch of her foot.

"Oh..." she moaned, closing her eyes. She had never felt anything like this in her life. She was getting incredibly turned on. She knew that's exactly what he had intended. He kissed her inner ankle, then ran his lips up her smooth, tanned calf. She was now glad she had her legs waxed two days earlier. His lips travelled the inside of her calf to her knee. He moved between her legs and allowed placed little kisses up her inner thigh.

"Whoa, cowboy," she said, jumping back.

"Sorry," he said, blushing. "I got a little carried away there, didn't I?"

"A little," she said, breathing heavily. "Believe me, it's not you. It's me. It wouldn't do you any good anyway."

"What's wrong?" he asked, his brow furrowing a little.

"Nothing. Just... never mind."

"Tell me," he said.

"I can't. It's embarassing," she said.

"Oh. Female thing?"

"No. Nothing like THAT," she said, giggling. "It's just... Oh, I can't say it."

"Tell me," he chided, poking her in the side. She jumped and laughed.

"Ohh you're ticklish," he said, poking her again.

"Stop!" she said, laughing.

"Tell me and I'll stop," he said, pinning her down and tickling her again, this time without stopping. She wiggled, trying to get away from him. This was torture.

"Ok, ok! I'll tell you. But you have to swear you won't laugh at me. This is really, really, really embarassing."

"I swear I won't laugh at you," he said, laying down on top of her. "Remember, I told you my deep dark secrets. You owe me at least one."

"Alright," she said, taking a deep breath. She closed her eyes. "One of the reasons Jeff and I got divorced is because... well... Jeff said I made him feel worthless. Because... Oh, man, I can't do this...". She took another deep breath and continued. "Well, Jeff was really... um... sexual. And he was never able to make me... uh... my gosh, I talk for a living and I can't say this... he couldn't make me have an orgasm. There I said it. I've never had an orgasm. Therefore, any efforts on your part would be pointless. I believe I am physically incapable of it."

She opened one eye slowly, hoping he wasn't laughing at her. He wasn't. She opened the other eye. He looked a little amused, but she clearly saw sympathy.

"I'm sorry," he said. "I didn't mean to make you feel embarassed.

"It's ok. I'll survive," she said, smiling through her embarassment.

"Is Jeff the only guy you've ever..." Brian asked.

"Yep. We started dating when I was 20, and I was a virgin on my wedding night. Actually, we both were. Corny, huh?"

"No. Not at all. But maybe you're not the problem," Brian said quietly. "Maybe it was him."

"I don't know. He read every book on the subject that he could get his hands on. I would think he would know what he was doing. He tried everything. Nothing worked. I guess it was just me."

"There are some things you can't learn from a book, Samantha."

The way he said those words sent a chill down her spine. She looked up into his eyes. She could see that he wanted her. Wanted her badly. Actually, she could feel his desire... pressing against her thigh. She swallowed hard.

"I think we'd better watch the movie," she said, the words catching in her throat. Brian smiled.

"Right," he said. "Movie." He sat up on the couch. She stayed on her end of the couch and put her feet back in his lap. He continued to rub them lightly. She was getting very sleepy, and very soon drifted off. Brian saw that she was asleep, and he got up to leave. He kissed her forehead and covered her with the throw from the back of the couch. He let himself out, locking the door behind him. Once outside, he stood on the porch, taking several deep breaths. Was he losing his mind? What was he thinking? Actually, he knew it wasn't his mind he was losing...
