Aj left Topaz later that day, unsure of where he wanted their relationship to go. She was certainly unlike any other girl he'd ever met in his life. Which made her all the more interesting. He knew she had secrets that she was keeping from him, but then again so did he. He decided to take it one day at a time and see which direction their relationship was heading in.

******** Topaz picked up the telephone and dialed her twin sister, Tara. She waited for her to pick up.

"Hello?"

"Tara, hey what's going on?" She knew if there was one person on this earth she could confide in, it was Tara. They had shared so much in their lives, and she considered her sister to be her best friend.

"What's up with you? Aren't you in LA?" Tara asked, wondering why her sister was calling.

"Yes, I am, but I needed to talk to you, so I called." She responded irritation creeping into her voice.

"Does this have to do with a certain Backstreet Boy?" Tara asked, knowing why her sister had made the treck to LA in the first place.

"Yes it does. I saw him, sis. And well....things happened." Topaz announced, instantly feeling better sharing her feelings with someone.

"Ok, so....now what? Are you going to tell him everything?" Tara wondered.

"I can't, it's too soon. I don't think he'd be able to handle all that right now."

"Well you have to tell him before it's too late, T. I know it will be hard, but you have to. He deserves that much." Tara said, ever the voice of reason.

"I know. I just saw him again after 2 years Tara, don't you think this is all a bit strange for me?" Topaz asked wearily.

"Yes sis, I know it's hard. It's not going to get any easier and time is running out. Before you leave LA he has to know all of it."

Topaz sighed. Her sister was right and she knew it. But how could she tell him the secret that she'd been holding onto for the last two years?
