Marital Status: Divorced twice.
Michael was first married to Lisa Marie Presley and later to Debbie Rowe, who gave Michael two children.
A son, Prince Michael Jackson jr. who was born the 13th of February, 1997, and a daughter Paris Michael Katherine Jackson who was born on the 3rd of April 1998.And the latest edition prince the second also refered to as Blanket

Michael has a very large family which includes 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

First performance: Michael's very first performance was 'Climb every mountain' in his kindergarten class, 1963.


The Jackson Five: The Jackson five was formed in 1964 and had their first performance at Mr. Lucky's in Gary Indiana. Original in the Jackson five were:
Jermaine, Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Michael.
In the beginning the Jackson Five was acompanied by one of their cousins Johny.


First single: The Jackson five first single was Big Boy which was recorded at Steeltown in 1968.


Motown: In 1968 Bobby Tayler & The Vancouvers discovered the Jackson five at the Regal Theater in Chicago. In 1969 The Jackson five auditioned for Berry Gordy at Motown and signed a contract with them. The first single that they recorded at Motown was I Want You Back, Also in 1969 the Jacksons moved from Gary, Indiana to Encino, California.
The first album the Jackson five recorded was Diana Ross presents the Jackson five, or better known as... ABC. This album was also the first gold record for J-5.


First solo album: Michael's first solo album was "Got to be there" in 1972.


Jacksons: In 1976 The 'Jackson five' signed up with Epic and changed their name to:
'The Jacksons'.
Jermaine stayed at Motown, and Randy took his place joining the Jacksons.


Movies: The Wiz in 1977, was the first movie Michael acted in, as a scarecrow. Diana Ross was also in this movie.
In 1982 Michael narrated a special album edition of Steven Spielberg's movie, E.T. that included a special song, "Someone in the dark".
In 1986 Michael did a 3-D movie for Disney, called Captain EO.
Moonwalker came out in 1988, and in 1996 Michael dazzled us with his performance in the short film GHOSTS.


Tours: During the Jackson five period, there were many small tours. The biggest tours were the Victory tour (with the Jacksons) in 1984, the BAD tour in 1987-1988, the Dangerous tour in 1992-1993 and the HIStory world tour in 1996-1997.


Awards: Michael has received award after award almost all his life.
The first Award the Jackson five received was the NAACP image award, for best group of the year in 1970. Later, Michael received many more Awards such as the famous:

Charity: Michael has been supporting charities all his life. Some of the best known charities he is affiliated with are:
The Ronald Mc Donald children foundation, The make a wish foundation, and Childright.
In 1984, Michael opened his own burn center, after he suffered severe burns to his scalp during a commercial shoot for Pepsi.
In 1985, Michael writes the song "We are the World" to help the hungry people in Africa.
In 1992, Michael started the "Heal the World foundation". A foundation that helps the needy children of the world. "The Guinness Book of World Records 2000 Millennium Edition" includes the following entry:
"Most Charities Supported By a Pop Star."

Michael Jackson has supported 39 charitable organizations either with monetary donations through sponsorships of their projects or by participating in their silent auctions. The charities involved include AIDS Project L.A., American Cancer Society, BMI Foundation Inc., Childhelp USA, United Negro College Fund (UNCF), YMCA - 28th street/Crenshaw, The Sickle Cell Research Foundation and Volunteers of America.
