Bad, the third solo project for CBS is releaed. It is produced by Quincy Jones and Michael JAckson, and Bruce Swedien. The album cover was photographed during a 15 minute break in the Bad video shoot. Bad debuts at number 1 on the UK and US charts. It remains in the UK chart for 109 consecutive weeks. Throughout the first week of sales, every 1 in 4 albums sold in the UK is Bad. In the Us, Bad remained in the top 100 for 87 weeks, 38 of which were spent in the top 5.
